Este libro contiene los tomos primero, segundo y tercero de las Memorias histórico, físicas, crítico, apologéticas de la América Meridional de José Eusebio Llano Zapata (Lima 1721-Cádiz 1780), las cuales abarcan respectivamente los reinos mineral, vegetal y animal. Los dos volúmenes manuscritos consultados en la Real Biblioteca del Palacio Real de Madrid catalogados como 11/1809 y 11/1810, fueron concluidos hacia 1757.
