Se ha dicho que “la iglesia no es un museo de santos, sino un hospital para pecadores”. Todos estamos quebrantados y heridos de una forma u otra. Desafortunadamente, muy a menudo tenemos la necesidad de esconder el dolor y ponernos una careta, de esconder las lágrimas y mostrar que vivimos una “vida victoriosa”. Habiendo ministrado a mujeres de Iglesias Latinas por años, a Aixa le ha afectado ver los efectos que esto tiene en las personas con las que ella trabaja. En este libro, ella extrae de las Escrituras y de su propia experiencia para animarnos a llorar Lágrimas valientes. Hay sanidad al reconocer cuan rotos estamos y ponerlo a los pies de Jesús quien trabaja en y a través de esto. It has been said “the Church is not a museum for saints, but a hospital for sinners”. We're all broken and hurting one way or another. Unfortunately, too often, we feel the need to hide the hurt and put on a facade. We feel the need to hide those tears and show that we're living the "victorious life." Having ministered to women in the Latino church for years, Aixa has been brokenhearted by the effects this has on those she works with. In this book, she draws from Scripture and experience to encourage "brave tears". There is healing in recognizing our brokenness and laying it at the feet of Jesus as He works in and through it.
