One More Little Toy

This collection was designed and developed by Graciela Repun and Florence Esses to accompany children in the early learning stages, with emphasis not only on the basics of shapes, sizes, numbers, opposites, positions and colors, but also in rhyme, poetry, and the visual richness of the illustrations.

All monsters cry, tremble, are afraid of the dark, and have fears themselves that cause them to hide under children s beds or closets at night. The best thing to do is give them a hug and tell them a bedtime story to calm down. An ideal book for little ones afraid of bedtime, this story will cause children to burst with laughter and begin to see that the monsters are friendly, and probably as scared as they are."

La abuela y Esteban salieron una tarde a dar un paseo en el parque. Mientras ella se sienta a leer, él encontró lo que parecía un palo, pero en realidad era el juguete más divertido: podía transformarse en una varita mágica, en una feroz espada, en el mejor bat de beisbol...
