Leopoldo Lugones Argüello (1874-1938). Argentina. Su primer libro de poemas es Las montañas del oro, de 1897, con versos medidos y libres, y prosa poética, en pleno auge del modernismo. Más tarde publicó Los crepúsculos del jardín (1905) y Lunario sentimental (1909), todos influidos por Rubén Darío. Odas seculares (1910), supuso un cambio en su estilo, que exalta las riquezas argentinas inspirado en Virgilio.
