Gracias al poder de su reloj, Maisie viaja a Alejandría, a la corte de una jovencísima futura reina de Egipto. La posesión del objeto tan solo presenta un grave inconveniente: si el que la posee muere antes de haberla vendido, irá derecho al Infierno. En principio venderla parece fácil. Lo difícil va a ser deshacerse de ella para siempre. En el CD, el texto en inglés británico, no está leido sino interpretado. Actores reales y abundantes efectos de ambientación dan vida a la obra. But when her loaf of warm, fragrant bread is ready, the Little Red Hen is not at all inclined to share it with them. The Rooster and the mouse soon mend their ways. This lively version of the classic tale is given contemporary treatment with dynamic, textured illustrations which consist of collage hung wires and then photographed by artist Kate Slater.
