La presente exposición trata de rendir homenaje a Mário Pedrosa a través de una selección de arte brasileño e internacional que responde a cuestiones artísticas trabajadas por él en diferentes momentos de su producción intelectual. En la muestra se plantea un modelo de historia del arte abierto y plural --no lineal--, es decir, no como una secuencia de estilos y lenguajes superpuestos sino como una serie de propuestas a través de las cuales se alcance una comunicación eficaz entre el artista y su espectador.
