El pezón de Sei Shōnagon es una historia del escritor chileno Omar Pérez Santiago inserta en una tradición japonesa, o, dicho de otro modo, de una tradición reinventada de una cultura urbana y cosmopolita. Sei Shōnagon fue una brillante escritora japonesa feminista. Nació en el año 966 en Japón y escribió “El Libro de la Almohada”, que se lee hoy como un blog sensible y de femenina gracia. La novela El pezón de Sei Shōnagon la redescubre en los actuales límites del mundo digital y de brutal violencia machista.

En Helonia, hombres y pueblos con tímidas expresiones se escuchan, observan. Intentos vanos que no completan movimientos, desplazamientos vacíos. Two writers, a deceased mother and her seventy-year-old son, Pancho, isolated in a palace near the sea in Galicia, are attended by an enigmatic old servant woman. The past haunts them with the unexpected visit of a man who had been Pancho’s secretary twenty years before. Soon, a child, this man’s son, moves into the palace, taking events to a tragic, ironic and surprising ending. This novel was made into a Spanish language movie: "El juego de los mensajes invisibles" (The Game of the Invisible Messages... 1991).
