Samuel Dermer fue una figura esencial en el desarrollo comunitario. Su labor y dedicación fue invaluable para las familias de la Comunidad Judía de Chile. Don Samuel comenzó a trabajar en el Cementerio Israelita de Santiago en 1985 labor que realizó ininterrumpidamente por treinta y cinco años. Él era el encargado de acompañar a nuestros seres queridos que habían fallecido. Don Samuel Dermer les leía tehilim y su preferido era el 79. Este libro es un tributo para este gran hombre que marcó a la Comunidad Judía de Chile de una manera que es imposible de dimensionar.
