A detailed study that examines the architecture of Fernando Martínez Sanabria (b. Spain, lived and worked in Colombia since 1938- d. 1991) throughout one of his most recognized buildings: the building of the Caja Agraria (1965) located in Barranquilla. The author examines this commercial project from its initial design process and proposes an analytical view of the building through its anatomical construction systems of light and semi-darkness developed by architect Martínez Sanabria.

El análisis de las construcciones religiosas que se realizó en las localidades cántabras que pertenecían a las denominadas Montañas Bajas del arzobispado de Burgos ha evidenciado el retorno de maestros montañeses que habían trabajado en otros puntos del país, responsables de la renovación de la arquitectura cántabra en dos direcciones, pues junto al avance hacia los postulados barrocos se produjo una clara asimilación y difusión de los principios vitruvianos.
