Regreso a mi son sin clave is a novel about the trials and tribulations of a young Cuban emigre who lives in Miami. After leaving his country, Alejandro, attempts to put his past behind him and go on with his new life. However, he befriends a man, Jesus, who convinces him to return to Cuba to reconnect with his long-forgotten relatives and his culture. Alejandro decides to go back, in spite of his father's objections, but he has no idea what awaits him on the island. He has no idea he will be hit in the face with everything he wanted to forget and more.
