How much importance do we give to the settings in which we live, sleep and relax when we go travelling? Nowadays travel usually means spending time in hotels, and these establishments have set about specializing in order to satisfy the varied needs of their guests. In this book we have sought to open a window on today's highly innovative hotels by showcasing some particularly attractive examples from all over the world. All the hotels that we have gathered together are united by a quest for up-to-date design aimed at providing a welcome for business travelers or tourists.

Estos tres arquitectos pertenecientes a la misma generación tienen un denominador común que es su profunda implicación en las tareas arquitectónicas que afectaron a los procesos de reforma llevados a cabo en la época de Guillermo II en Alemania, un periodo marcado por profundas transformaciones en todos los ámbitos de la vida en la sociedad alemana.

The present research work is based on original manuscripts and testimonies from architect González Gortázar (b. Mexico) regarding his transcendent architecture and urban designs. González Gortázar is considered at present one of the most important architects of México, creator of spaces and urban art that are now geometric symbols and references of the city of Guadalajara in México. The architect strongly practices the concept of "Space and Art" and where the city should never loose their social function for which it was originally conceived and constructed.
