Los testimonios que se incluyen proceden, en su mayor parte, de los liberales m s ilustres que defendieron la Rep blica: Benito Ju rez, Ignacio Manuel Altamirano, Ignacio Ram rez y Francisco Zarco, entre otros.

Fue herida en Puerto Escandón (Teruel), permaneció varios meses en el Hospital de Valencia, trabajó en la siderúrgica saguntina convertida en fábrica de material de guerra y fue detenida y juzgada en consejo de guerra que la condenaría a muerte.
