In many parts of the world, children are exposed to danger. This book presents three stories: Talika in India, who is forced to work to pay off her uncle's debt; Akara and his sister in Central Africa, who must flee rebels; and Chukilla, who works in the gold mines in the Andes to help his family. It explains the reality in their countries and shows what UNICEF does to keep children safe.
