During the 20th century in Mexico, Mexican literati formed literary groups and created new movements in poetry, short story, and essay centered around significant literary journals. This book is a study and analysis of the literary journal El Hijo Prûdigo and the generation of the early 1940s which brought Mexico into literary prominence.
