Sinopsis del Libro

Un insólito relato de la vida real de un niño huérfano que, al alcanzar la mayoría de edad, partió de Uruguay para recorrer mundo, llevando como equipaje una guitarra unida a un corazón melancólico y épico. Su periplo, que recuerda en ciertos pasajes a las desventuras del Quijote, está cargado de ingenio, humor, reflexiones, invenciones, aventuras, poesías, investigaciones musicales inéditas y un relato cinematográfico que abarca, desde una vida de nómada cantando en autobuses y durmiendo en bancos de las plazas, hasta ser huésped distinguido de la realeza europea. Aquel joven vagabundo reunió, con los años, una de las mayores colecciones de instrumentos musicales étnicos del planeta, creó tres museos de música y obtuvo dos candidaturas a los Premios Príncipe de Asturias.
