A partir de la documentación conservada en la Sección Nobleza del Archivo Histórico Nacional, correspondiente a la Casa Ducal de Osuna, se ha formado una colección de microfilms, referidos a un municipio de la campiña sevillana, La Puebla de Cazalla, que formó parte del señorío de la Casa de Osuna desde 1502. La citada Colección denominada “Osuna”, conservada en el Archivo Municipal de La Puebla de Cazalla, se ha descrito de acuerdo con la norma ISAD (G) y se ha catalogado con criterios archivísticos, facilitando con ello un instrumento de acceso y consulta al citado fondo.

Esta obra es el segundo volumen de las publicaciones enmarcadas bajo el título Fundación de la Orden Hospitalaria. Aquí el autor reconstruye el contexto que llevó a presentar la fundación ante la Sede Apostólica, la concesión de su aprobación canónica, y la repercusión de las mercedes otorgadas por la Bula de aprobación. Al final de cada ejemplar, encontrarán un ejemplar facsímil de la Bula Licet ex débito.
