En los anales historiograficos -dicen los autores en el prefacio- es poco lo que se sabe sobre lo que ocurrio en el estado de Durango durante la Revolucion. La intencion de los autores es reparar esa ausencia historiografica y profundizar en el papel que tuvo Durango, cuna de Pancho Villa, uno de los protagonistas de la lucha armada mexicana.

This edition of the Observatory presents condensed life tables by sex, projected by five-year periods, for 20 countries in Latin America for the period 1980-2020. It also contains an analytical overview of the information presented, brief description of the methodology used and the data sources for each country. The CD-ROM includes the life tables for the period 1950-2050 along with information on estimates and projections of total, urban, rural and economically active population.
