Este diccionario tiene varias finalidades: la primera, contribuir a la educacin lingstica de nios y adultos de la enseanza elemental. La segunda, ser un instrumento til para la enseanza del espaol a los hablantes de lenguas indgenas. La tercera, servir a quienes han cursado su primera enseanza, desean conocer mejor la lengua espaola y pretenden formarse un criterio ms claro y mejor documentado acerca de ella.
